We are proud to share our short documentary capturing the journey of Unmute Dance Company’s Inclusive Arts Residency at Mandela Model Creative Arts Academy in Mthatha.
Over two weeks, young people with and without disabilities came together to explore movement, storytelling, and South African Sign Language (SASL) as a creative foundation. This residency was a space of collaboration, learning, and co‑creation, highlighting the power of the arts to break barriers and celebrate difference.
The moments of connection, courage, and creativity made this residency unforgettable.
